About Us

We met our freshman year in college and have been together ever since. We've both dreamed of being parents for as long as we can remember. Matt even wrote on his 5th grade assignment that when he grew up he wanted to be a dad (tear!). Lauren's only ambition in life was to be a mom to as many kids as God would give.

Though our longing for the blessing of parenthood has yet to come to fruition, we have been blessed with so many other ways to share our love. Matt is quite literally the neighborhood hero. All the kids on our block are obsessed with him! He spends pretty much every warm night outside chasing the neighbor kids around, playing t-ball with them and pretty much giving in to their every demand.

Lauren works with women who are facing difficult pregnancies and walks with them through the pregnancy decision making process and the first year(s) of parenting. She's been able to put her passion for child development and mental health to good use, supporting new moms in working through their own past hurts so they can provide better lives for their children.

About a year and a half into our marriage we found out that Lauren had a host of autoimmune issues that could make it difficult to conceive. We received the best treatment available from doctors faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church and we are so grateful for the tremendous improvement Lauren has seen in her health despite our empty arms.

And now we have heard God's call to pursue adoption and are so excited to move forward with the process. Our hearts are filled with joy as we await this miracle!
